I have always been enamoured with both science and art; my fascination with the former led me to obtain a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Kyoto University, while my love for the latter led me to the Biomedical Visualization and Communications program at the University of British Columbia.
I now combine my extensive experience in working in the field of research with my skills in graphic design, 2D/3D illustration, and animation to create accurate and human-centered visuals that connect people and science.
